Ugo Gaudino joined the School of Politics and International Relations at the University of Kent in September 2019 as a GTA and a PhD student in International Relations. He holds a BA in Political Science (2012-15) and a Master’s Degree in International Relations (2015-17) from La Sapienza University (Rome), as well as a MA in ‘Economy and Institutions of Islamic Countries’ (2019) from LUISS University (Rome). His PhD project is about the securitization of Islam by Right and Left parties in Western Europe. His academic sub-field are critical security and terrorism studies.
