Author profile: Yoan Molinero Gerbeau

Yoan Molinero Gerbeau is a political scientist, who holds an MA in International Relations and African Studies from the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM). He is currently working at the Institute of Economy, Geography and Demography (IEGD), part of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) for the EU-project TEMPER (temporary vs. permanent migration). Currently his research is focused on developing the world-ecology paradigm by studying migrant farm worker’s conditions and their systemic role in global capitalism’s maintenance. This research is at the core of the PhD project that he has been preparing at the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM) since 2016.
